Library News

Vandebilt Computer Access
Students can check the Vandebilt Library collection online to find resources for classes.  Destiny is the name of the Vandebilt Library online card catalog (OPAC).  The library’s automation system allows students to check for materials on any computer with internet access.

Destiny may be accessed through Edline accounts.  Go to the Library tab for links to Destiny and other online resources.

The URL
http://destiny.arch-no.org will take you to the diocesan home page.  Click on “Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux” and then click on “Vandebilt Catholic High School”.  Students may search the catalog as a guest or they may create an account.  Creating an account would allow students to put materials on hold, create lists, and view checkouts of library books and textbooks.  Passwords will be provided by the library staff for students who would like to create an account.  The Vandebilt Library online catalog may be searched by using the “Library Search” or “Destiny Quest” tabs.  Also available is a new feature called WebPath Express.  Typing in a subject term provides links to relevant internet websites.
