Description/ Mission:

The Foreign Language Club is open to students who are now in a foreign language or who have completed at least one year of a foreign language.  Its purpose is to gather together students interested in sharing their language experiences outside of the classroom setting.  Members participate in various projects during the year and join in with other clubs for activities such as Cafeteria Week and Teacher Appreciation Week. The club also sponsors an essay contest in the spring.  A typical topic would be “How has taking a foreign language here at Vandebilt made a difference in your life?”.  When called upon, the members also participate in a school liturgy.

Meetings are scheduled for the first Wednesday of the month and vary to include activities relevant to all foreign languages taught at Vandebilt.
