Varsity Quiz Bowl is open to students in grades 9-12 who have a love of learning and who seek the challenge of academic competition. Quiz bowl is a fast-paced buzzer competition in which teams of four players compete to answer questions that cover academic subjects like literature and science as well as the broader world of popular culture and current events. The team competes annually in the South Louisiana Quiz Bowl Tournament hosted by KWBJ TV Studio in Morgan City and various other tournaments in the area throughout the year. The culmination of the year is the state tournament held in Lafayette sponsored by the NAQT in March.

Junior High Quiz Bowl is similar to Varsity Quiz Bowl, but is only open to students in 8th grade.  The junior high team competes in a separate tournament from the varsity team, playing against other junior high schools in the area.
